Organic Baby Clothes DETROIT

Long before I had my children, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.
I generally go out with 3 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Twingos Cafe (which is in DETROIT, MI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can get organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
