Organic Baby Clothes DENVER

Long before I had my first child, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.
I generally meet with 4 other parents, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Basil Doc's Pizza (which is in DENVER, CO) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more exciting because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
