Organic Baby Clothes DENVER

Before I had my children, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby outfits we have picked up.

I usually meet with 4 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We generally meet at Italia Pizzeria & Deli (which is in DENVER, CO) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was particularly eye opening as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
