Before I had my baby, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
