Long before I had my children, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby clothes we have purchased.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
