Organic Baby Clothes DECATUR

Before I had my children, I had not thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.
I more often than not meet with 4 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We often meet at Hickory Stick Barbeque (which is in DECATUR, AL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was more interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed the environment and especially water ways. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can buy organic baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find stores completely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
