Organic Baby Clothes COFFEEVILLE

Long before I had my first child, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.

I usually meet with 4 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Front Street Pizza & Deli (which is in COFFEEVILLE, MS) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really exciting because we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are made without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothing means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Many producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
