Long before I had my children, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. Getting organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
