Organic Baby Clothes CLEVELAND

Back before I had my first child, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the latest baby fashions we have bought.

I more often than not get together with 4 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Mr Hero - Restaurant (which is in CLEVELAND, OH) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more interesting seeing we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic food from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and especially water bodies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

You can buy organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
