Back before I had my first child, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
