Organic Baby Clothes CLEMSON

Long before I had my children, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I usually go out with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Seasons by the Lake (which is in CLEMSON, SC) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined habitats and particularly water ways. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
You can get organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find shops completely devoted to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
