Organic Baby Clothes CHILTON

Long before I had my first child, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby fashions we have bought.

I usually meet with 3 other parents, once a month, to catch up on the latest happenings. We usually meet at Chilton Cenex Convenience (which is in CHILTON, WI) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting because we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby organic food from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can purchase soft organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
