Organic Baby Clothes CHATTANOOGA
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 06-04-2009
Before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.
I usually go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Ramada Limited Interstate Highway 24/Loo (which is in CHATTANOOGA, TN) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening seeing we chatted about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic meals from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and especially water ways. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can buy organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
