Organic Baby Clothes CHATTANOOGA

Back before I had my first child, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, talking to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.
I generally go out with 4 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at Highway 58 BBQ (which is in CHATTANOOGA, TN) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic food from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has destroyed ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can get organic baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
A number of retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers completely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
