Organic Baby Clothes BUCYRUS

Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I usually meet with 4 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We generally meet at Good-Eats Restaurant & Lounge (which is in BUCYRUS, OH) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was really exciting as we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby girl organic food from the beginning but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic products means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find shops completely committed to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
