Organic Baby Clothes BRICK

Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.

I more often than not get together with 2 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Messina's Gourmet Pizza (which is in BRICK, NJ) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really interesting because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can buy beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find designers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to adolescents. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
