Organic Baby Clothes BREWSTER

Before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.
I usually meet with 3 other women, once a week, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at Pizza Place (which is in BREWSTER, NY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more interesting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby organic food from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can get beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and rivers, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find stores entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
