Long before I had my children, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
