Organic Baby Clothes BATAVIA

Back before I had my first child, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not get together with 2 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at Noble Romans Pizza (which is in BATAVIA, OH) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening seeing we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
A number of makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies completely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
