Before I had my children, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Purchasing organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers solely committed to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
