Long before I had my children, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Getting organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
