Organic Baby Clothes ALBANY

Back before I had my baby, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at The Lakehouse Restaurant (which is in ALBANY, GA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic food from the start but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
You can get beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.

Have you heard that Halo (halosleep.com) has started an organic line? They have onesies and the sleepsacks in 1200% organic cotton and the prints are too cute! i love the ones with the tea pots!
