Baby Clothes WAUSA

Back before I had my children, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby fashions we have purchased.

I usually get together with 2 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest new. We generally meet at Pinky's Lounge (which is in WAUSA, NE) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly interesting because we discussed baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can purchase organic baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
