Back before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
