Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby outfits we have bought.

Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
