Long before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not get together with 4 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Waffle House (which is in TITUSVILLE, FL) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really exciting as we discussed organic baby clothing. Purchasing organic products means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
