Baby Clothes TIONESTA

Before I had my children, I never believed I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Lake Lucy Restaurant (which is in TIONESTA, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more exciting as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
