Baby Clothes SUMMITVILLE

Back before I had my baby, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally meet with 2 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at K & L Pizza (which is in SUMMITVILLE, IN) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really exciting because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic produce is made without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
