Baby Clothes SHAKOPEE
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 07-05-2009
Back before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby outfits we have bought.
I more often than not go out with 2 other parents, once a month, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Sabas Sports Bar & Grill (which is in SHAKOPEE, MN) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening because we discussed baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores completely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
