Baby Clothes SCOTTSDALE

Long before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.
I more often than not meet with 4 other women, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Mongolian BBQ (which is in SCOTTSDALE, AZ) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening because we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby organic meals from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic products are made without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic clothing means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find stores entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
