Baby Clothes SANTA ROSA
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 29-06-2008
Long before I had my baby, I had not thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to talk about the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Connies Cafe (which is in SANTA ROSA, TX) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really exciting because we discussed baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic food from the start but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
You can get beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find companies solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
