Long before I had my children, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Getting organic products means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
