Baby Clothes SAN FRANCISCO

Back before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, talking to other parents about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby outfits we have picked up.
I generally meet with 2 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We usually meet at Pacific (which is in SAN FRANCISCO, CA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really interesting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic products means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find shops entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
