Baby Clothes SALT LAKE CITY

Long before I had my children, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to chat about the latest baby outfits we have bought.

I more often than not get together with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Sugarhouse Movies 10 (which is in SALT LAKE CITY, UT) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening seeing we discussed baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and especially water bodies. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
