Baby Clothes SALMON

Back before I had my first child, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.
I generally meet with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Bertram's Salmon Valley Brewery (which is in SALMON, ID) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more interesting seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
