Before I had my children, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
