Baby Clothes SALEM

Before I had my children, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.
I usually go out with 3 other parents, once a month, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Geppetto's Italian Restaurant (which is in SALEM, OR) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can get beautiful organic baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find shops solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
