Long before I had my children, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. Purchasing organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
