Baby Clothes RICHMOND

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 28-01-2010

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to chat about the latest baby fashions we have bought.

I usually go out with 4 other women, once a week, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at Kroger - Delicatessen (which is in RICHMOND, KY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening because we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic produce is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.

You can get soft organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic products means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find companies solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
