Baby Clothes PONTOTOC

Before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the latest baby fashions we have picked up.

I usually get together with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at LA Parrilla Mexican Restaurant (which is in PONTOTOC, MS) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly interesting because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the start but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and especially water bodies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
