Baby Clothes PELHAM

Long before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the newest baby fashions we have picked up.
I generally go out with 4 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Kentucky Fried Chicken - Oak Mountain (which is in PELHAM, AL) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic food from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can get organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
