Before I had my children, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Purchasing organic products means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
