Baby Clothes OTHELLO

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 24-01-2010

Long before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.

I more often than not get together with 4 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Casa Mexican (which is in OTHELLO, WA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening because we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water ways. Organic cotton is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can purchase organic baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
