Baby Clothes ORMOND BEACH

Long before I had my children, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have bought.

I generally get together with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We usually meet at Ormond House of Pizza (which is in ORMOND BEACH, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really interesting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and especially water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
