Baby Clothes ORANGEBURG

Back before I had my children, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to chat about the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I generally go out with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Jameson Inn Orangeburg (Sj) (which is in ORANGEBURG, SC) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more interesting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic food from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
