Long before I had my children, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
