Baby Clothes NEWARK

Back before I had my children, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the latest baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not meet with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We generally meet at Fat Rick's Cajun Grill (which is in NEWARK, DE) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly interesting as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic products means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find companies entirely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
