Baby Clothes NEW ORLEANS

Back before I had my children, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the newest baby fashions we have bought.
I usually meet with 3 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Holiday Inn - Westbank (which is in NEW ORLEANS, LA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water ways. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can get organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic produce means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find shops solely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
