Baby Clothes NEW BEDFORD

Back before I had my children, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the newest baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually meet with 2 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We generally meet at Fadosingers (which is in NEW BEDFORD, MA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was more exciting because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic produce from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
You can get soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic products means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers solely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
