Baby Clothes MULLINS

Before I had my first child, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the newest baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest new. We usually meet at Mama Ketta's Cafe (which is in MULLINS, SC) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and especially water ways. Organic cotton is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
