Baby Clothes MILLEDGEVILLE

Long before I had my children, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I more often than not get together with 3 other women, once a month, to find out the latest happenings. We usually meet at Evans Bob Farms Restaurants (which is in MILLEDGEVILLE, OH) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic products means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
