Before I had my children, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. Getting organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
